Profile:
- Basic art knowledge (composition, color, 3D modeling)
- Management of 3DS Max or Maya, Blender, Adobe Photoshop and After Effects.
- Knowledge of particle systems and fluid dynamics.
- Basic understanding of animation principles.
- Basic notions of programming logic.
- Willingness to learn Blueprints, Cascade and Material Editor in UE4.
- Ability to research, experiment, learn and find solutions independently.
Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize, prototype and develop high quality visual effects for dynamic environments and objects.
- Optimize visual effects within the technical limits of the project.
- Develop high quality materials within UE4, which can be used by artists, level designers and programmers.
- Work with different teams to create balanced solutions for technical and aesthetic issues.
Portfolio/Reel:
- The portfolio/reel must have academic or professional exercises that demonstrate development of visual effects with particles/fluids and textured 3D pieces or renders of 3D elements.
Bonus:
- Handling of Unreal Engine 4.
- Handling of Houdini.
- Development of scripts/tools.
